Bryan Mulcrone graduated from Downers Grove South in June and will attend Northeastern University in Boston in the fall.
1. What activities were you involved in during the school year? I was the student body president this previous school year. Other than being heavily involved with student council, I played on the school’s varsity basketball team. When I injured my back junior year and was unable to play basketball, I coached the Special Olympic basketball team at Downers Grove South. Four sixth-graders are elected to the council's executive positions.
Willow Creek Elementary School has four new student council officers. The school recently elected its student council executive positions. Here are the results: President: Hailey Woynerowski Vice President: Liv Pandola Treasurer: Katie Roth Secretary: Emily Little The four are all in the sixth grade. "I'm so excited to be student council president," Woynerowski said. "I have lots of ideas for school spirit and fundraising, I can't wait to get started. This is going to be the best year ever!" Throughout the year, the student council raises money through a variety of fundraisers, including selling lollipops and candy. Proceeds go to the school's student activity fund.
