Super Bowl Sunday: Where to Watch the Big Game and Catch Some Deals, Too

Police Blotter: Sipley Students Possibly Followed, More Diesel Fuel Stolen

Woodridge police reports, Sept. 12-16

Albert Schumacher, 68, of the 2700 block of North Creek Road, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of 83rd Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence. Someone took about 288 gallons of diesel fuel from three trucks parked in the 2400 block of Internationale Parkway, police said. The theft was discovered at 10:30 a.m. The value of the diesel fuel is estimated at $870. A group of students were possibly followed while walking to Sipley Elementary School on 83rd Street, police said. The students noticed a man in his late 20s to early 30s following them. When the students turned to go toward the school, the man continued on 83rd Street. Patricia Ray, 28, of the 1500 block of Rickey Drive, Joliet, was …
