Our food columnist renews her faith in burritos at Qdoba.
I’m guilty, and perhaps a few of you are, too. After a long night out on the town, we desperately search to fulfill a particular craving – a fresh, feisty-flavored burrito. Maybe a lack of better judgment, a foggy head or just plain “loco” may have directed my visits to “authentic” burrito stands. Disappointed, I swallowed dry flour tortillas filled with wilted lettuce, dry rice and rubbery pieces of mystery meat while topping each bite with salsa dispensed from small plastic cups. Age, wisdom, a clear head and gastrointestinal disturbances have made frequenting these establishments stop. I lost faith, until now… My desire for flavorful burritos and Mexican fast-food has been resurrected after visiting Qdoba Mexican Grill®. This national …
