New 350,000-Sq-Ft Facility Planned for Woodridge's Union Pointe

Orbus Exhibit & Display Group, a company that makes exhibits for trade shows, has announced plans to lease a new building in Woodridge's Union Pointe business park (near the I-55 and I-355 , bringing an estimated 300 jobs to the Village, Chicago Real Estate Daily reports.

According to the site, if approved by the Village, the building will be nearly 350,000 square feet with 55,000 feet of office space, making it "the 10th-biggest local build-to-suit project slated for completion between January 2011 and April 2014, according to data from Colliers International."

Orbus hopes to move into their new building by June , the site reports; Woodridge officials were unable to provide tax-revenue estimates at the time. However, Edward Don & Co., who moved to Union Point in 2012, is estimated to bring the Village $39 million over 30 years minus $10 million in incentives, according to the site.
