Woodridge Man Accused Of Starving Skunk To Death: Police Blotter

The case is due back in court Aug. 6.

A 55-year-old Woodridge man is accused of starving a trapped skunk, police said.

Roger Knott, of the first block of Penny Royal Place, was charged with cruelty to animals at about 6:53 p.m. July 11. He trapped the skunk on his property and allowed it to starve to death in the trap, according to a police report.

Knott's next court date for this case is Aug. 6, according to DuPage County records.
