Teen Resists Arrest, Charged with Aggravated Battery: Police Blotter

SUNDAY, SEPT. 1

Intoxicated Pedestrian

Prentice Hammons, 24, of the 200 block of S. Oak Creek Lane in Romeoville, was charged with public intoxication after police stopped him in the roadway in the 2300 block of Birchwood at 12:30 a.m. 

Kayla Dunn, 19, was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting an officer, battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor after police responded to a disturbance in the 2300 block of 75th Street at 4 a.m. 

Cement Blocks Stolen

Fifty cement retaining wall blocks were stolen from a storage area near Meadowdale and Woodridge Drive.  

TUESDAY, SEPT. 3 

Car Damaged

A car parked in the 2600 block of Zurich was scratched with a sharp object. 

THURSDAY, SEPT. 5

Phones Stolen 

Three cell phones were stolen around 6:30 p.m. at the Janes Avenue Skate Park.
